A serviced office group has agreed to let space in a historic listed building in the centre of Leeds.

Wizu Workspace, has agreed the letting of 9,500 sq ft of office space at The Leeming Building, which is set to become the business' latest and largest centre in Leeds.

The grade I-listed office was constructed in 1904 and has undergone an extensive refurbishment by owner Freshwater Group which has developed a new design-led creative workspace.

Next to the new Victoria Gate development, the refurbished office space includes a new reception area and communal break-out spaces, LED lighting and air conditioning.

Since the completion of the first phase of work at the scheme in April 2017, a total of 75 per cent of the space is now let or under offer.

Leeds commercial surveyor WSB Property Consultants represented Wizu Workspace on the acquisition and Sanderson Weatherall acted on behalf of Freshwater Group.

Mark Newton, director at TPS, development managers on behalf of Freshwater Group, said: "The latest letting to Wizu Workspace is testament to the unique style and quality of office space that we have been able to create within The Leeming Building, one of Leeds’ true architectural gems."
